Full-Time MBA Program

This option is designed for individuals who want to accelerate the completion of their MBA. Students who do not need to take the 5000-level foundation courses can complete the program in 12 months by taking four classes Fall and Spring semesters and three classes Summer Semester. Graduate assistantships and tuition scholarships are awarded on a merit basis to selected full-time students.

Full-Time MBA Program

This option is designed for individuals who want to accelerate the completion of their MBA. Students who do not need to take the 5000-level foundation courses can complete the program in 12 months by taking four classes Fall and Spring semesters and three classes Summer Semester. Graduate assistantships and tuition scholarships are awarded on a merit basis to selected full-time students.

Classes begin annually in Fall Semester. By taking a total of 11–16 classes (three to four classes per semester), students graduate the following Summer Semester at the end of August.

Tuition scholarships and graduate assistantships are awarded on a merit basis to students with outstanding undergraduate records and relevant skills. 

Recipients of graduate assistantships work 20 hours per week for faculty and staff in the College in a variety of research, program management, business consulting and marketing roles. Graduate assistants do not teach courses. Monthly stipends vary depending on the annual budget allocation for the College of Business.

Students are also accepted in the full-time program if they do not receive one of these forms of financial support. Standard in-state and non-resident tuition rates apply.

Applicants to the official degree-seeking MBA program must meet the following admissions criteria:

  • A 4-year bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a satisfactory GPA. Your bachelor degree does not have to be in business.
  • A satisfactory GMAT exam result.
  • An "Admissions Index" of 1100 or higher. (Cumulative undergraduate GPA x 200 + GMAT). If an applicant has an Admissions Index of 1100 or higher but their cumulative undergraduate GPA is below 2.5 or their GMAT score is below 400 they cannot be regularly admitted to the program.

For students with a master's degree or prior masters-level course work:

  • The GMAT is not required if you already hold a conferred master's degree from an accredited American college or university. Please submit all undergraduate and graduate transcripts from all previously attended institutions for evaluation.
  • If you have prior coursework but have not completed a master's degree you must take the GMAT exam. You also must be in good standing in your current graduate program with an overall GPA of 3.0 or better.
  • No more than 12 semester hours of equivalent graduate level credit(4 classes) from an AACSB-accredited institution can be transferred. All potential transfer credit must be evaluated and approved by the College.
