  • The MSIE program requires completion of 60 credit hours. All courses are 3 credit hours. Students take two courses each semester for a total of 6 credit hours per semester. Additionally, MSIE students complete two intersession courses. Intersession class times vary to accommodate student work schedules and may include Sundays. Occasionally classes fall on holiday weekends.
  • There is no prerequisite coursework. Waivers are not given for previous coursework or life experience.
  • The program is "lock-step." The students progress together through a sequential pattern of courses. Participants must take all courses in the program, attend class and study group meetings to remain in good academic standing, as well as maintain the 3.0 cumulative grade point average each semester required for degree completion.
  • The curriculum offers a blend of case studies, lectures and group discussions.
  • At orientation, group exercises serve as "ice breakers" for the cohort.  However, study groups are normally assigned at the instructors' discretion.
  • Students are able to continue their regular employment.
  • Streamlined registration, tutoring, and administrative support are provided.
