Evening program classes begin in May, September, and January, and are available at two campus locations—Wellesley and Boston —so you can study when and where it’s most convenient.

Generally, students take between 6–8 credits per semester. You’ll earn your MBA in three years if you enroll year-round, but you may take up to eight years to earn your degree. Most evening classes meet on weekday evenings from 6:30–9:30 p.m.

The curriculum is delivered through three main buckets:

  • Core: Courses that are consistent across all program delivery formats

  • Signature Learning Experiences: Simulations, action-learning projects, and self-reflection

  • Electives: Courses across various disciplines as well as nontraditional electives, including consulting projects, independent research, and more

Admissions Process

The admissions process at Babson’s graduate school follows a deadline-driven timetable which means applications are reviewed—and decisions rendered—depending on the date the application was submitted. Late in the application cycle, when rolling admissions begins, the committee will review applications as they are submitted. It is always advantageous for you to submit your application as early as possible. Once all application requirements noted below are received, the application will be ready for review.

MBA Program Application Requirements

  • Online application

  • Three essays

  • Two letters of recommendation

  • Résumé

  • Official transcripts from all institutions, undergraduate and graduate. Contact us if you are not able to submit official transcripts.

  • GMAT or GRE scores (not required for most applicants to the Fast Track program)

  • $100 Application Fee

Interviews

Interviews are part of the official application process. They are by invitation only and are scheduled by the Graduate Admissions Office. Please ensure that you are fully prepared for your evaluative admissions interview. Please do not contact our office to schedule your interview—we will contact you directly if an interview is necessary.

International Applicants to the Full-Time and Evening Programs

Candidates whose native language is not English and who have not earned a bachelor’s or master’s degree from a U.S., U.K., Canadian, Australian, or New Zealand institution also must submit the following:

  • TOEFL iBT or IELTS test scores

  • Official English translations of all required academic documents

International Applicants to the Fast Track Program

TOEFL iBT or IELTS test scores are not required for applicants to the Fast Track program, but may be recommended on a case-by-case basis. Application materials are reviewed thoroughly for evidence of writing and communication skills, initiative, maturity, and creativity.

Babson College provides student immigration documents for students who are enrolled in a full-time program. The Fast Track program is considered to be a part-time program. International applicants who are currently in nonimmigrant status (H-1B, B-1/B-2, L, TN, etc.), or who are currently outside of the U.S. seeking entry to attend the Fast Track program, are not eligible for F-1 student status. International applicants may be able to attend the Fast Track program in another nonimmigrant status depending on the status and the situation.

Reapplication:

Candidates who have applied to Babson in the past should contact the Graduate Admissions Office for reapplication instructions.
